Who we are

We are PineForge, the service behind pineforge.dev and the hosted MCP server. You can reach us at [email protected] with questions about privacy.

What we collect and why

Waitlist. When you join the waitlist, we store your email address, which form you used, your language setting, country, referring website's hostname, and campaign tags (UTM). We use your email to manage the waitlist and send a welcome email through Resend; to send at most one welcome email a day, we keep a hashed form of your address for 24 hours, then delete it. We use the source details to understand where signups come from. We do not store your IP address in the waitlist; it is used only for a short-lived counter (kept for 10 minutes after the last sign-up from that address) to limit repeated sign-ups. Cloudflare Turnstile may check your sign-up.

Contact form. When you send us a message, we store your name, email address, subject, topic, message, language setting, IP address, country, and browser information (user agent). We use these details to receive and reply to your message and limit repeated submissions. The message is forwarded through Resend, and Cloudflare Turnstile may check your submission.

Button clicks. We log the button identifier, page, destination, language setting, country, referring website's hostname, and campaign tags (UTM) to understand which buttons and sources lead to clicks. We do not store your IP address in this log; it is used only for a short-lived counter to limit repeated requests.

Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits to pineforge.dev.

Hosted MCP server. When you use the hosted server for backtesting, your Pine source is sent to mcp.pineforge.dev. We do not keep your Pine source text. A compiled form of it is cached for up to 60 days to speed up repeat runs, and a backtest report too large to return directly is kept for up to 7 days at a private link. To count how many different callers use the server and to apply the weekly quota, we record the IP address of every tool call, using the /64 block for IPv6, together with the week and number of calls. After eight weeks, we delete those address records and keep only weekly totals without addresses. Our host also keeps operational request logs for a short period.

How long we keep information

  • Waitlist email addresses: until you unsubscribe or 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first.
  • Contact messages: 12 months in our database. Each message is also delivered by email to our team inbox; you can ask us to delete it there too.
  • Button click logs: 180 days.
  • Hosted MCP address records (call counts and the weekly quota): eight weeks.
  • Hosted MCP compiled cache: up to 60 days. Large backtest reports: up to 7 days.

Deleted records may remain in our hosting provider's database backups for up to 30 days.

Who processes information for us

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, site analytics, and Turnstile checks. Resend sends email for us, including welcome emails and forwarded contact messages.

Your choices

Every waitlist email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can use that link to unsubscribe, and we will send you no more waitlist email after you do. You can also ask us to delete your information by writing to [email protected].
