Selling Pine strategies as binaries is planned
Six limits a seller would set
- Time-bound
- Days, weeks or months; the license expires on its own.
- Machine-bound
- One license, one machine.
- Broker-bound
- Runs only on data from the brokers or exchanges you name.
- Symbol-bound
- Runs only on the assets you allow.
- Input-range-bound
- Buyers tune inputs only within the ranges you allow.
- Revocable
- You can disable a license; the binary stops at its next check.
No launch date yet
The plan: you compile your Pine to a native library, buyers run it on their own data without seeing your source, and you set the license limits. None of it is built yet: there is no license server, seller tool or payment flow today, and no launch date.
